Great news coming in from across the nation about TEA Party successes. Don't wait on the Media to tell you about it...WE (the People) know that the hundreds of cities that had gatherings of hundreds and thousands were a clear statement of our freedoms and liberty!

The next rally may be on May 1 (the date that the Communists celebrate?)...What about an ANTI-Communist rally and one that would take place at the HQ's of our major media outlets to let them know that we really don't appreciate their bias coverage of what We The People had to say on April 15! Just a thought...

TEA Party TIME!

It's going to be a great day on Wednesday in Austin! You can TEA Party ALL afternoon, beginning at the City Hall on 2nd Street at 11:30 am. Come out with your creative, liberty-loving, tax-opposing signs to rally our great country of freedom! You can visit your representatives in the Capitol in between the two TEA Parties to tell them you are watching how they are voting this legislative session. Then you can gather at 4 pm on the south steps of the Capitol for the TEA Party which will move toward the Lady Bird Lake for the ceremonial tea bag drop after the rally.

Hope you will make your plans this Wednesday to join many others in Austin to express yourself.

Thanks to all who showed up at the RED Rally, ready to show our support of VOTER ID Bill in the House. The hearing room was a sea of Red...very powerful sign of support and great showing for all who want safe and legitimate elections in TEXAS.

I am checking on the exact status and will keep you informed as I have solid information.

VOTER ID Update!

On Monday, April 6 at 2pm, expert witnesses will be heard in room E2.108 of the Capitol Extension. RPT has arranged for several witnesses to testify both from Texas and other states. RPT has arranged for several witnesses to testify both from Texas and other states.

Tuesday, April 7 at 11:30am we will gather at the South Steps of the Capitol. There will be speakers supporting the bill including several state elected officials. We hope there are enough people there to bring the media, so everyone can see how important this bill is to Texas voters. Like last time, WEAR RED.

Upon adjournment of the House at Noon, the House Elections Committee will reconvene in the John H. Reagan Bldg. #120 (right next to the Capitol, we will walk there as a group from the south steps) to hear public testimony. Testimony will be heard until midnight. You may either sign up to testify orally (you will be given 3 minutes to speak) or you may just fill out a testimony card stating that you are FOR SB 362.

You may sign up for these starting at 10am and lasting until midnight- so even if you cannot make the rally, you can still come to testify and wear red! We especially ask Election Judges to testify. Talking points are available. We hope that this bill passes the House Elections Committee AS IS (no watering down or delaying the bill) to be heard by the full House in May. Make your plans to attend and stay as long as you can at both events! It's so much more convenient for us who live in Austin to make the trip downtown and our presence is VERY IMPORTANT! And Wear RED!
